Shedding light on our tech future and tech now for a generation of young girls and boys, Serena Williams revealed recently that she has taken to coding.

Speaking at the Teen Vogue Summit in Los Angeles, Serena noted the necessity of such knowledge, offering that "It’s really important to me, especially because my fashion business is all online. It’s never too late to start.

To be sure, master-tweeters and others had some fun with the news.

One of Serena's many famous friends, Eva Longoria, also spoke at the Teen Vogue event, and another, Karlie Kloss, runs camps that teach girls to code, dubbed Kode With Klossy. As Haus of Williams watchers know full well, Serena's husband, Alexis Ohanian Sr., co-founded Reddit. He has also spoken of seeking to direct their daughter, Olympia, toward a tech focus in the future. To that end, teaching Olympia such tricks looks to be a mixed-doubles partnership.
