Dominika Cibulkova made a dramatic announcement on Thursday via Instagram but it's not pregnancy or retirement, like many of peers these days. She will be writing a memoir in collaboration with her friend, Slovak writer Andrea Coddington.

“It is fun and it is not going to be a tennis bible," Cibulkova said on Instagram. “There will be everything—my love for tennis, my achievements, my mistakes, my ups and downs, my passion for fashion, my friends, my family, my love. My life.”

The only bad news is there's no exact date yet to look forward to diving into the pages of Cibulkova's life.

“There is no release date yet—everything has time, but one thing for sure—it will be colorful, mine, passionate, truthful, with lot of pictures, lot of insides,” Cibulkova said.

The 29-year-old Slovakian finished a 28-19 season with a quarterfinal run in Beijing. She has spent her time off vacationing in the Maldives and filming for Li Na’s biopic in Wuhan before getting into off-season training.

Last month, she became the first player in history to win her eighth Slovak Tennis Player of the Year award.
