Instagram Envy is real, and tennis players are catalyzing that in recent weeks for many observers of the sport. For one, British pro and former world No. 76 Naomi Broady's offseason has not been boring, with a seemingly frenetic pace of laidback travel.

First, vacation time in Houston and then in Mexico's Tulum and Isla Mujeres areas.

Next, living it up in the Manchester nightlife with a spunky pal, her compatriot Heather Watson.

Finally, a chance run-in with superstar entertainer Lauryn Hill, which inspired Broady to share what could be a tennis-centric lyrical reference – "How you gon' win when you ain't right within" – from Hill's hit "Doo Wop (That Thing)."

Hill herself is presently in the UK for a series of dates, including a December 3 tour stop at London's O2 Arena where the ATP Finals recently concluded.

The 2019 tennis season looms, with January (or even late December) coming in four short weeks. Broady and her colleagues on the WTA and ATP tours will continue to pack in as much non-tennis action as they can muster. Sometimes they create it, and sometimes opportunities truly find them.
