In Lacoste, Jeremy Chardy simply oozed handsome, classic style at Roland Garros. The throwback color-set of the horizontal lines on that polo belong in the closet of every fellow from 16 to 76.

Whether it was pale pink or blushing, bashful this-or-that, Maria Sharapova's Nike dress in Melbourne looked exquisite. The slim, skin-hugging tailoring complemented her exceedingly well in that patented Australian Open heat.

New York always brings out the loudness, and Roger Federer did not disappoint in that respect at the US Open. In just his second major event since darkening Uniqlo's door, he presented himself well in a very raspberry top and shorts. Though he ditched the combo for something a bit more sedated after his opening-round match, in which he also wore shoes and socks in that exact tone, the ensemble was bandied about on Twitter for days.
