“Madison Keys is part of the impressive post-Serena Williams wave of American women tennis players climbing through the game's ranks,” her Forbes profile reads. “She is in the top ten of the world rankings, the first American woman to do so since Williams, and has already finished in the top four at a major four times in her young career. Keys also does advocacy with anti-bullying group Fearlessly Girl.”

The world No. 17 is the third highest ranked American behind Sloane Stephens (No. 6) and Serena Williams (No. 16).
