For a lot of young professional tennis players currently on the WTA Tour, Serena Williams was their idol growing up. For example, Naomi Osaka has said that it was always her dream to play Williams, and she's beaten her twice this year.

For 14-year-old Coco Gauff, it was an opportunity of a lifetime when Williams approached her during a practice session. The 23-year-old Grand Slam champion was shooting a commercial nearby and decided to say hello.

At first, Gauff believed it was someone dressed in a Halloween costume, but soon learned that it was the real Serena Williams. The American also congratulated Gauff on her recent deal with New Balance, her first multi-year sponsorship.

Gauff is already starting to turn heads at just 14 years old. Last year, she became the youngest ever finalist the girls' singles event at the US Open and she did one better at the junior French Open this year.
