No. 5 seed Marin Cilic faced Philipp Kohlschreiber in the second round in Paris on Tuesday, and the little boy escorting him really embraced the spotlight, waving to the crowd at every opportunity.

And the good vibes stayed with Cilic throughout the match, as his signature forehand helped him win comfortably, 6-3, 6-4.

In the round of 16 on Thursday, the recent Australian Open finalist will play Grigor Dimitrov, who defeated Roberto Bautista Agut 7-6 (10), 6-4 on Wednesday.

The winner will likely have to play soon-to-be-No. 1 Novak Djokovic in the quarterfinals.
