Serving can be one of trickiest parts of the game, but you can get a lesson from Venus Williams that breaks the stroke down into four easy-to-remember steps.

Step 1, Williams said, is holding the ball properly.

"You have to put it in your hand like you're holding an ice-cream cone," she said. "You do not lick the ball."
