The fan-favorite Frenchman is finally back, and he arrived in a big way. In Antwerp this week, he finally notched the first win of his comeback and it was obviously emotional. The 33-year-old took down Guido Pella, 7-5, 5-7, 7-6 (5), in the first round of the European Open.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has been away from the tour since February with a knee injury, undergoing surgery in February. His last win came in Montpellier where he defeated Andrey Rublev and then retired mid-match in the semifinals.

The world No. 75 returned in September, but lost his opener in Metz and withdrew from an ATP Challenger in Orleans, France. He will take on fellow Frenchman Gael Monfils in the round of 16.
