Coco Gauff is making a name for herself at only 14 years old.

Hailing from Delray Beach, Fl., the rising star made a big splash at this year's French Open, winning her first junior Grand Slam and becoming the tournament’s fifth-youngest girls singles champion.

“I want to be the best ever,” Gauff said in a "No Days Off" docuseries video. “I want to be better than Serena. And I want to have that Grand Slam record one day.”

And, just like the Williams sisters, her dad doubles as her coach. The teen went to her first tennis camp when she was seven, and never looked back.

“I was used to hitting against my garage of my house,” Gauff said. “Then my dad put me in a summer camp and the rest just took off from there.”

Her father isn't the only one who is involved with Gauff’s tennis career; it has been a family affair.

“I’m the assistant making sure everything gets organized, making it easier for her,” Gauff’s mother, Candi, said. “When you see that someone has potential, you do whatever it takes.”

Gauff, who's been homeschooled since the third grade, spends the days she's not at tournaments at home doing multiple on-court sessions and working on strength and conditioning with her fitness coach.

“I like tennis because it teaches you all the core things on how to stay strong, but also how to be independent and think for yourself,” Gauff said.
