The Baseline Player of the Week: Borna Coric

Borna Coric is becoming a big huge on the ATP Tour. For the first time in his career, the 21-year-old reached the final of an ATP Masters 1000 in Shanghai.

Taking down established names such as Stan Wawrinka, Juan Martin del Potro and Roger Federer, the young Croatian proved he's ready for the spotlight, despite falling to Novak Djokovic in the final.

This is the fourth final of Coric's career, having won Marrakech and Halle and reaching the final in Chennai in 2016. The Shanghai final is another highlight of a breakout season for Coric who also defeated Federer in the Halle final this year.

The Croatian nearly broke into the Top 10, moving 10 spots to reach world No. 11.
