On Friday, Serena Williams spoke at the Pennsylvania Conference for Women to a crowd of 10,000 attendees. The day before, she was speaking at Zoomtopia 2018, a conference in San Jose.

The 37-year-old ended her season after the US Open, and so has the time for off-court opportunities like these. The Philadelphia conference featured more than 100 speakers in one action-packed day. On stage, Williams discussed motherhood, her husband Alexis Ohanian, her return to tennis, women sticking together, pushing boundaries, fashion and the future.

Williams got married last year to the Reddit co-founder and their one-year-old daughter Olympia has become a fixture on the tour.

"My husband is an incredibly loving, genuine, amazing soul," she said. "He would do anything for me, for his family and for our daughter. I feel really lucky to have met him. We met by chance. I never thought that we would get married and have this life and have this amazing child. It happened. I feel blessed."

The 23-time Grand Slam champion used examples from her illustrious career to share messages on preparedness, speaking out and going for your dreams.

Just the day before, Williams was a speaker in San Jose for Zoomtopia, a special two-day conference for people passionate about communication, IT and video.
