On Wednesday, Alexander Zverev put an end to Nikoloz Basilashvili's six-match win streak in Asia. Basilashvili had just won Beijing for his second career ATP title and dismissed Denis Shapovalov in his Shanghai opener before running into Zverev.

The German was fired up in the 7-5, 6-4 win; so much so that a ball boy was actually spooked by Zverev's intensity.

The 21-year-old will face an opponent younger than him in his next round when he takes on teenager Alex De Minaur. Zverev is the No. 4 seed at the ATP Masters 1000 and is seeking his fourth title of 2018.
