China Open players tested their chopstick skills in the tournament's Chopstick Challenge, in which they had just one minute to move as many bouncy balls as possible from one bowl to another.

Plenty of players struggled with the task, but Angelique Kerber and Zhang Shuai each got 50 points, tying for first place.

Kerber notably did it holding the chopsticks in her right hand, even though she plays tennis with her left.

Alexander Zverev, meanwhile, came in with only 18, the worst score by a considerable margin.

"You're supposed to use this for food and enjoy it and not rush," he said.

And Naomi Osaka posted a middling 34, enough to tie for fourth place out of 10.

"My Asian-ness is coming into question," she exclaimed.

Some other stars to not do so hot were Grigor Dimitrov (33), Caroline Wozniacki (30) and Petra Kvitova and Juan Martin del Potro with 24 apiece.

Wozniacki would win the title over Anastasija Sevastova, while Del Potro lost in the final to Nikoloz Basilashvili.
