Sunday was a very special day for Martina Hingis. The former No. 1 turned 38 years old and announced that she will be having a baby, her first with husband Harry Leeman.

The two tied the knot less than a year after Hingis retired as the world No. 1 in doubles at the end of 2017. During her illustrious career, Hingis won a total of 25 Grand Slams in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. After retiring from singles in 2008, Hingis returned to the tour as a doubles specialist and enjoyed tremendous success, winning 10 of her 25 Slams.

Hingis isn't the only champion to announce baby news this week. Former No. 1 doubles player and 2017 Indian Wells champion Elena Vesnina is also expecting.
