Newly turned 37-year-old, Serena Williams has had a mixed season in 2018. While she reached the final of Wimbledon and the US Open, tying Steffi Graf's record for most major finals in the Open Era, she also did not win a single title. It's the first time she has gone title-less in a season since 2006.

The former world No. 1 pulled of Beijing, choosing to end her 2018 season early. With a potentially reinvigorated Williams coming back to the tour in 2019, the question can't help but creep up: will next season be her last?
