Normally, a player has to deal with things beyond their control on the court. On Wednesday in Wuhan, Caroline Wozniacki had to deal with something new; her own necklace.

The former world No. 1 was playing against Monica Puig in the second round when, during a changeover, her necklace became too tight around her neck. A helping hand quickly came over to help, and the match continued.

Despite leading in the second set, Wozniacki fell to Puig, 7- 6 (10), 7-5. The Dane hasn't gone past the second round of a tournament since winning the Eastbourne at the end of June.
