Dominic Thiem has checked off another milestone on his growing list of accomplishments—an indoor hard-court title. In the final of St. Petersburg, the Austrian topped Martin Klizan , 6-3, 6-1.
It marked Thiem's first win over the Slovakia.

A flawless week for Dominic, who is 10-1 since the start of the US Open. Only loss vs Nadal.
This is the second hard-court title for Thiem and his 11th overall title (eight of his crowns have come on clay). He will move up to No. 7 in the rankings, passing Kevin Anderson in the Race for London.
Thiem will next play the Shanghai Masters.
