The Laver Cup has been the biggest spectacle in tennis in recent years, and, to the tournament's credit, its main attraction continues to be doubles.

In 2017, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal teamed up as a historic pairing to beat Jack Sock and Sam Querrey 10-5 in a super tiebreak. This year, the lineup delivered again, with Federer joining forces in Chicago with Novak Djokovic, who recently won both Wimbledon and the US Open.

On Friday night, they'll be taking on Sock and Kevin Anderson, who each had good years in their own right. Sock was both a Wimbledon and US Open champion in doubles, while Anderson made the Wimbledon final for the first time.

Whether or not the match lives up to the hype, the occasion of Djokovic and Federer playing together is guaranteed to be a special experience.
