On any tour in any match, Gael Monfils does what Gael Monfils does best.

At the Kaohsiung Challenger in Taiwan, the Frenchman's first tournament since losing in the second round of the US Open, Monfils faked out his opponent, Akira Santillan.

At first, Monfils appeared to have given up on the point after landing a drop shot. However, the 32-year-old immediately switched gears and sprinted to reach the next shot, firing the ball down the line and snagging the point.

A bonus hot shot occurred right after when Santillan threw his racquet in frustration, only for it to bounce back, spin, and land perfectly next to his seat. Even Monfils just being on the court seems to make trick shots happen everywhere.
