NEW YORK—Saturday will see history made at the US Open. The women’s final will feature upstart Naomi Osaka against living legend Serena Williams.

Osaka is visibly in awe of Serena, but beat her handily at the Miami Open. The 36-year-old American has come a long way since March. She’s been in great form this fortnight but so has the 20-year-old. Osaka is the first-ever Japanese female to reach a Grand Slam final. She’ll be trying to stop Serena from reaching Grand Slam No. 24.
