On Sunday, Lacoste's best players spent some time teaching and hitting with local children in New York City.

US Open stars Jeremy Chardy, Benoit Paire, Kristy Ahn, Christina McHale, Julien Benneteau and Nicolas Mahut shared their tips and skills on courts nestled in Central Park.

Foundation Lacoste put on the event with the City Parks Foundation, and it was hosted by the gregarious Murphy Jensen.

The clinic was memorable for everyone involved.

American stars McHale and Ahn had a blast with the local youth, who may one day be inspired to take up tennis just as seriously as they did.

Though Mahut lost in the singles qualifying event, he's got a great chance for a deep run in the doubles draw with partner Pierre-Hugues Herbert. Mahut's son will be ready to support his dad, through both the wins and losses.

Earlier in the week, Lacoste held a special event celebrating their star player, Novak Djokovic, at the Macy's in Herald Square.

Djokovic is one of the favorites for the US Open crown after winning Wimbledon and Cincinnati. Main-draw action began on Monday.
