The US Open is underway this week. All eyes are on the American players to see how well they perform in their home country.

No American man has raised the title in Flushing Meadows since Andy Roddick defeated Juan Carlos Ferrero in 2003. The American women have fared a bit better, capturing five titles in the last 10 years, thanks, almost entirely, to Serena Williams.

Last year, the U.S. women took over the event with four home-grown semifinalists beforeĀ Sloane Stephens beat out Madison Keys in the final. Hopefully fans see similar fireworks this year.

Which American player do you think has the best chance at winning the US Open?
