Maria Sharapova's newest shoe, the La Cortez via Nike, releases this week. It's a vision of sleek beige—perhaps two words never placed adjacently before—or camel. And it's billed as honoring autumn in New York, timed to the US Open and with promo images featuring tastefully strewn, fallen leaves.
The 31-year-old star revealed the shoe in a series of rather shout-y social posts.

Sharapova fashioned her entrepreneurial bona fides a good while back, and through the rollout of the custom-leather La Cortez, she also seeks to elevate a few women with similar spirits.

Sharapova's previous La Cortez release, a pink version in tribute to Los Angeles, went quickly via Nike and Nordstrom's online shops earliest this year. Expect more of the same with this outing.
