Rafael Nadal becomes the first to qualify for the ATP World Tour Finals in London. The world No. 1 just reached the semifinals of the Rogers Cup, where he is the defending champion.

The 32-year-old has somehow never won a year-end championships, so his motivation will be at an all-time high—which is bad news for his competition.

Here's his 2018 highlights:

The Spaniard currently holds a 2, 230 point lead over world No. 2 Roger Federer. But Nadal hasn't scored a win over his rival in the last five attempts. They're both in the Cincinnati field next week.
