When they’ve faced off in Grand Slam play this year, Mate Pavic and Oliver Marach have come out on top against Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah, with one of those wins coming in the final of the Australian Open.

In a practice session this week in Toronto, “Colombian Power” turned the tables on the Croat/Austrian duo. Aside from bragging rights, Cabal and Farah were able to get a little “slap-happy.”

Cabal’s first smack was pretty light, with even the recipient Marach expecting more. Farah demonstrated how it should be done when it was his turn with Pavic. Cabal received a do-over that had a little more oomph to it.

One has to wonder if Marach and Pavic are in the right sport, despite their Grand Slam-winning ways. Case in point, their recent table tennis battle during one of the rain delays this week. Perhaps MMA will be the next step after they retire?

The top seeds are through to the quarterfinals in the tournament by way of a walkover from Grigor Dimitrov and David Goffin. Cabal and Farah will try to join them in the last eight on Friday.
