Michelle Wolf sings Serena's praises

Michelle Wolf, she of the 2018 White House Correspondents Dinner kerfuffle and plenty of headlines since, has high praise for Serena Williams.

Speaking on her Netflix comedy show, The Break with Michelle Wolf, the comedian addresses the fact that Serena finished as the finalist in the most prestigious tournament in tennis a mere 10 months after giving birth to baby Olympia via caesarean section and suffering post-partum complications.

Wolf also compares the GOAT to LeBron James (in a way) and sends up the sport for how a number of players opt to wear skirts in competition, even harboring extra tennis balls beneath them. Yes, you just have to watch the clip.

Williams comes off the worst loss of her career – a 6-1, 6-0 drubbing against Johanna Konta in San Jose – after which she called attention to post-partum depression.

She will play in Cincinnati ahead of the US Open in New York.
