Stephens stars on American Way magazine cover

Sloane Stephens has to be getting used to being a highly sought-after cover girl. The US Open champion is the latest face gracing the cover of American Way inflight magazine.

Her stunning photos will be stocked on American Airlines flights starting this week. Ink creates three magazines for the airline, including American Way and the bi-monthly CelebratedLiving and Nexos.

Earlier this year, Stephens won the Miami Open for the second-biggest title of her career with wins over Grand Slam champions Garbine Muguruza, Angelique Kerber, Victoria Azarenka and Jelena Ostapenko.

She also reached the French Open final before falling in three sets to Simona Halep. Just over one year into her comeback, Stephens is ranked No. 3 in the world.

This week, she returned to Washington, D.C., the site of her first career WTA title back in 2015. She would lose in the round of 16 to Andrea Petkovic.
