Marco Cecchinato didn't win his first ATP match of 2018 until Monte Carlo in April. He has turned his year around, exponentially, to say the least.

The surprise French Open semifinalist won the Croatia Open for his second ATP title of the season, defeating Guido Pella in straight sets on Sunday.

Sitting at a career-high ranking of No. 22 in the world, the 25-year-old Cecchinato has jumped over 80 spots since March.

He won his first ATP title in Budapest in April. His next task is to take on Gael Monfils in the first round of Hamburg.
