A gleeful, game-for-anything Simona Halep stars in a new TV advertisement for the antiperspirant brand Rexona. Therein, our WTA No. 1 finds herself in precarious positions while participating in various sports, excluding tennis.

She is deftly kicks a soccer ball, boxes as best she can, smiles while fleeing from a rugby cohort, and even valiantly attempts a basketball shot over a defender with nearly two feet on her height.

Halep's partner, Rexona, is also marketed as Degree in the U.S. and Canada, and as Sure in other parts of the world.

The brand offers "energy and protection for all who are always ready for new challenges" and issues a call to action for its users to try to meet a 5,000-steps-a-day goal. In the end, that seems about half as many as Halep takes in her more marathon matches, but hey, baby steps.
