The tactical serve and volley is become a relic in the modern age of hard-hitting baseliners. Players such as Pete Sampras, John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg used the strategy effectively, and some of the older players still uses it, albeit sparingly. Despite it's lack of modern use, it's still worth learning.

Enter Mischa Zverev who taught viewers how to do the serve and volley on ATP's instagram. The older Zverev brother recently won his first ATP title in Eastbourne at 30 years old, using the technique to his advantage.
