Petra Kvitova is making the switch from clay courts to grass look impossibly easy. After a clay season that saw her win Prague and Madrid, the Czech has dispatched her first two opponents in Birmingham in straight sets.

She first beat local hope Johanna Konta and then eased past Daria Gavrilova on Thursday. The world No. 8 has been boosted by volleys like this one:

Kvitova is obviously well-known for her grass prowess, having won two Wimbledon crowns. She's the No. 4 seed in Birmingham.
