Another day, another player goes sliding and tumbling on the grass all the way into the net. This time it was Stefanos Tsitsipas putting a little too much engine behind a sprint for a Denis Kudla volley.

The Greek managed to get a racquet on it before rolling into the net, soccer style. The World Cup fever is raging high after all. The two were battling in a round of 16 match in Halle, which Kudla won 6-3, 6-4.

Tsitsipas still held his own, managing a diving volley:

He recently chatted about the challenges of switching from clay to grass:

"The one who is going to adjust to the grass-court faster is the one who is going to perform better," Tsitsipas said.

Kudla was playing his seventh grass match of the season, having qualified in Stuttgart and gone through qualifying again in Halle. It's the American's first ATP quarterfinal since 2015, the same year he reached the fourth round of Wimbledon.
