Playing his first match in nearly a year, all eyes were on five-time champion Andy Murray in Queen's Club on Tuesday.

Blink, though, and you might have missed some of the racquet wizardry from his first-round opponent, Nick Kyrgios.

On serve at a game apiece in the first set, Murray drew Kyrgios into the net with a drop shot, which the young Australian tracked down, only to be sent scurrying once again when Murray hit a lob.

In what’s seemingly become the norm, Kyrgios replied with a tweener and the two engaged in a rally from the baseline, where the Stuttgart semifinalist hit his second tweener—of the point. He ended up finishing off the point with a drop shot of his own.

After all of that, the score was only 1-1, 15-all.

Murray would roll through the first set, taking it 6-2, but Kyrgios rallied to win the second in a tiebreak and the third, 7-5. It was a solid showing for Murray against an opponent who’s coming off a good run on the grass last week in Germany. This was Kyrgios’ first win against Murray, and the Australian has now joined some rather elite company as one of the only players to defeat every member of the ATP’s “Big 4.”
