By now fans are used to seeing Stan Wawrinka post on social media using a ton of emojis. But they're not used to seeing the Swiss lose, and then still express himself so publicly. Losses have simply become a part of his comeback story.

Since undergoing knee surgery after Wimbledon, the former world No. 3 has gone through some tough turns in his career. His most latest loss came on Thursday in Geneva at the hands of Martin Fucsovics. The good news though is that he scored his first win since February over Jared Donaldson earlier in the week.

All things considering, the 2015 French Open champion is in a pretty good place in the draw. He opens against Guillermo Garcia-Lopez.
