Sometimes being a tennis pro has it's perks. In Rome, Bethanie Mattek-Sands was given a pleasant surprise from Aaron Rodgers, the current quarterback for the Green Bay Packers.
Mattek-Sands is a huge fan of the football team and was shocked by the signed helmet that read "Best wishes for your comeback season." The 32-year-old injured her knee at Wimbledon last year, and has returned to the tour.
"Thank you, I will be watching this season. You've always been an inspiration to me," Mattek-Sands said. "I believe in you and I feel like you believe in me too!"
She was knocked out of the Italian Open in the first round by Alison Van Uytvanck, 7-5, 1-6, 6-1.
