Three new moms, Serena Williams, Victoria Azarenka, and Ana Ivanovic, shared their experience of becoming a first-time mother in honor of Mother's Day.

Slowly returning to the tour, 23-time Grand Slam winner Williams described her life as both a mother and elite athlete.

Williams, who won her most recent major at the 2017 Australian Open while pregnant, is working her way back full-time with her eight-month-old daughter Olympia by her side.

A mother who’s had to endure more struggles than most, Azarenka discussed change in perspective after having her son, Leo. She's had to go through a custody battle that's kept her off the tour until recently.

Azarenka is finally able to play internationally again, though she was dealt a tough draw in Rome, falling to Naomi Osaka in straight sets.

While no longer on the tour since December 2016, Ana Ivanovic has been enjoying life with her new family in Chicago.

Ivanovic only just gave birth to her son Luka in March, but the impact of being a mom is profound regardless of how long one has been doing it.
