Having some fun ahead of the Estoril Open, Kyle Edmund and Joao Sousa got a surfing lesson on Carcavelos Beach from Portuguese pro surfer Frederico Morais.

"I've never surfed ... it's my first time doing it," Edmund said. "I've got no excuses because I got a pretty good instructor."

Morais' advice: "Don't rush it, and do it properly, because then you'll stand up easily. And then just to find a point on the beach where they can focus instead of just looking at their feet and losing their balance."

As Sousa found out, that's easier said than done.
