Prize money’s always nice. A new Porsche isn’t bad, either.

A million bonus airline miles, though? That’s taking things to new heights.

At the Porsche Grand Prix Tennis, six players competed in the Turkish Airlines Tiebreak on Monday. Utilizing a round-robin Tie Break Tens style format, the players were divided into two groups: Julia Goerges, Caroline Garcia and Laura Siegemund were in one, with Kristina Mladenovic, Angelique Kerber and CoCo Vandeweghe in the other.

Facing against each other in match tiebreaks, the winners of each group met in the final with a million Turkish Air miles on the line. The championship came down to local favorites Goerges and Kerber, former Stuttgart winners who just competed on the stadium court in Fed Cup over the weekend.

In the end, Goerges topped her compatriot by a score of 10-8.

However, Goerges' visit at the tournament was short-lived as she dropped her opening match to qualifier Marketa Vondrousova, 6-2, 6-2.

But for anyone seeking a vacation, or traveling the tour full time, those miles are about as good a prize as it gets.
