"Until I was nine I thought [Novak Djokovic] was going to be my husband," said Marta Kostyuk in Stuttgart on Tuesday.

The 15-year-old had just won her first round in dominant fashion over Antonia Lottner, and was explaining who she modeled her game around as a youngster.

"When I was growing up I didn’t really have idols," yet she couldn't help but mention Djokovic, despite the two not having similar playing styles.

Kostyuk, who came through qualifying, takes on Caroline Garcia next.

The Ukrainian's name should sound familiar. At the Australian Open, she burst onto the scene by running through qualifying all the way to the third round. The world No. 158 has jumped nearly 400 spots in the ranking this year.
