Playing her opener against Samantha Stosur in Charleston, Kristie Ahn called her coach, former pro Shenay Perry, to the court after winning the first set. The chat was animated with Ahn feeling an impending sense of loneliness.

The 25-year-old jokingly said, "Don't leave me!" before quietly whispering, "She hates me" to the cameras. Of course, it was all in good-hearted on-court coaching fun.

Perry, a former world No. 40, is new to the coaching scene, while Ahn is hoping to become the newest face in the Top 100 (she's currently at No. 107).
