Certainly one of the most qualified people in the sport, Roger Federer weighed in on a heavy debate: are tennis balls yellow or green? The 20-time Grand Slam champion was confidant.

The debate over the color has gone viral thanks to Federer weighing in. He was in Chicago promoting the Laver Cup, and the Tweeter's dad is the one who asked the now-famous question.

The pivotal debate over ball color even made it onto the Today Show where Carson Daly and Savannah Guthrie, who recently played against Federer at the Match for Africa 5, ruled the ball to be yellow. But 33 percent of viewers think it's green, and Jenna Bush Hager, daughter of former president George Bush, insists it's neon green.

Surprisingly, it seems not even Federer can end this debate.
