Players were in for a treat in Sao Paulo, once again. Instead of the traditional ballkids retrieving balls, the Brasil Open employed dogs.

With their affinity for chasing and fetching balls, canines are a perfect fit to serve as retrievers on the tennis court and the players in Sao Paulo enjoyed the furry fun.

Fabio Fognini would claim his sixth career title in three sets over Nicolas Jarry in the final.
