WATCH: Savannah Guthrie prepares to face Federer

The Today Show host will team up with Jack Sock to face her idol

With a little help from her celebrity friends, Savannah Guthrie is ready to face Roger Federer at the Match for Africa 5.

The exhibition will pit Bill Gates and Roger Federer against the Today Show host and Jack Sock on Monday in San Jose, Calif. All of the proceeds will go to the Roger Federer Foundation which helps African children get an education.

Guthrie, who is a self-proclaimed huge fan of the Swiss, has been prepping for this. The lefty has practiced every day—even through her time in South Korea for the Winter Olympics.

Guthrie appears pretty confident, but her love for her idol may get in the way. Guthrie engaged in a friendly Twitter battle with Federer last month.

Federer will also be tasked with a singles match against Sock.
