Taking in the beauty of Rio de Janeiro is a must for anyone visiting and the stars of the Rio Open are not missing out. Top seed Marin Cilic climbed a mountain to get an up-close look at Christ the Redeemer, an icon of the Brazilian city.

Cilic was able to visit the statue in a unique way, climbing inside the statue for a once in a lifetime photo opportunity.

Cilic wasn't the only one interested in the iconic statue. Gael Monfils also went to check it out up close.

Cilic wasn't done with his fun just yet. The Australian Open finalist also went to the Rio Carnival alongside Fabio Fognini, Lukasz Kubot and Marcelo Melo.

Defending champion Dominic Thiem is enjoying his time in Rio as well. He's coming in hot from winning the title in Argentina.

Diego Schwartzman wanted to get even more physical ahead of the ATP 500, playing a quick game of soccer on one of the famed beaches in Rio.

Main-draw action in Rio began on Monday with Cilic easing through to round two while Thiem, Monfils, and Schwartzman are all scheduled to start on Tuesday.
