Karolina Pliskova may be one of the best tennis players in the world but her rock-paper-scissors game needs work.

The Czech was challenged to a game with consequences during all-access media hour in Dubai and luck was not on her side.

It's safe to say Pliskova losing a bet and hopping into the pool at the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel in Dubai is something that does not happen every day. Hopefully her time on court goes better.

Ahead of her run at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, Pliskova also got to enjoy her time while still dry in the United Arab Emirates. She visited the Dubai Frame, one of most unique attractions in the city.

The 25-year-old even had time for a quiz, displaying her impressive knowledge of the WTA stop.

Pliskova begins her Dubai campaign against either qualifier Sofya Zhuk or Carla Suarez Navarro.
