Eugenie Bouchard and Sloane Stephens two of the featured athletes in the 2018 *Sports Illustrated* Swimsuit issue, donning a variety of black bikinis and one-pieces for the beachside shoot.

Stephens was new to the swimsuit modeling experience and was extremely honest about needing some time to adjust to posing in a tiny amount of material.

"Once you get comfortable and feel so good about yourself, there's no stopping you," Stephens told SI. "You can actually look super sexy in a swimsuit and be a really awesome athletic girl."

Bouchard and Stephens got to travel to a destination not on the WTA calendar (Aruba) for the opportunity of a lifetime.

"I’ve always loved the beauty of the SI Swimsuit issue and thought it would be incredible to one day be a part of it," Stephens told SI. "I honestly never thought I’d have the opportunity."

It may be her first time in a bathing suit for SI, but Stephens has already been their cover star after winning the US Open.

It's Bouchard's second year in a row taking part in the SI Swimsuit issue.

The friends, who have both trained at the Nick Saviano Tennis Academy and sometimes play doubles together, also just helped kick off the inaugural New York Open.
