A first-round exit in last month's Australian Open apparently did little to the dampen the fire within Petra Kvitova. Playing against Kristina Mladenovic in the St. Petersburg final, the now world No. 21 only needed 65 minutes to dominate and win the title, 6-1, 6-2.

This is her first trophy of 2018 and it was her first final since winning Birmingham last June. This is also the Czech's 21st WTA title, keeping alive the streak of winning one tournament per year since 2011.
