An elite group of boys and and girls followed in the footsteps of Alexander Zverev, Victoria Azarenka and Andy Roddick in Melbourne this past week by becoming junior Australian Open champions.

Sebastian Korda, the 17-year-old son of 1998 men's champion Petr Korda, won the boys' singles final 7-6 (6), 6-4 over Taiwan's Chun Hsin Tseng.

Korda's sister Jessica, a professional golfer, watched proudly from afar.

Taiwan did wind up getting the title on the girls' side, though, with En Shuo Liang's 6-3, 6-4 getting a win over Clara Burel of France.

Liang took the title in doubles as well, partnering with Xinyu Wang to win the final 7-6 (4), 4-6, 10-5.

In boys' doubles, Hugo Gaston and Clement Tabur, an all-French team, won their championship match 6-2, 6-2 against German's Henri Squire and Rudolf Molleker.
