In every Grand Slam there is at least one upset that rocks the tournament—this fortnight has seen several. Hyeon Chung is responsible for two of them, after defeating six-time champion Novak Djokovic, 7-6, 7-5, 7-6, in the round of 16 on Monday.

He is the first South Korean to ever reach the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam. The victory is extra memorable as The 21-year-old has said that Djokovic has been his idol since childhood.

Earlier in the fortnight, Chung knocked out No. 4 seed Alexander Zverev.

Chung will take on another unexpected face in the draw, Tennys Sandgren, for a spot in the semifinals. The world No. 97-ranked American took out seeds Stan Wawrinka and Dominic Thiem.
